Corporate and Clinical Governance Consultancy:
At The Lojical Solution, we believe that meaningful change occurs when leadership, governance and therapeutic practice work together.
Founded by Sheree James, our consultancy brings together more than 30 years of executive leadership, clinical governance and therapeutic expertise across child protection, out-of-home care, disability, mental health and Aboriginal community services.
We partner with individuals, non-government organisations, government agencies and Child & Family Services to strengthen practice, build workforce capability and improve outcomes for children, young people, adults and families.
Whether supporting an individual through therapeutic intervention or assisting an organisation to strengthen its governance framework, our approach is evidence-informed, trauma-responsive and grounded in practical solutions.
We understand the complexity of human services and the challenges organisations face in balancing quality care, legislative compliance and sustainable service delivery. Our role is to provide practical guidance, strategic leadership and clinical expertise that strengthens organisations while keeping the wellbeing of children, families and communities at the centre of every decision.
The Lojical Solution is committed to helping individuals thrive, leaders lead with confidence, and organisations build cultures of excellence through strong governance, reflective practice and therapeutic support.
Leadership • Practice • Governance
Why Clinical Governance is so important:
Strong clinical governance is the foundation of safe, ethical and accountable service delivery. It provides the systems, leadership and assurance required to ensure that every person receives high-quality, evidence-informed care while organisations meet their legislative, regulatory and professional obligations.
With over 25 years of experience in leadership across child protection, mental health, disability, out-of-home care and Aboriginal community services, Sheree James has led the development and implementation of robust clinical governance frameworks for government and non-government organisations. Her expertise spans quality assurance, risk management, safeguarding, policy development, clinical audit, workforce capability, continuous improvement and organisational compliance.
A particular area of expertise is the governance of restrictive practices within the NDIS and child and family sectors. Sheree has extensive experience supporting organisations to understand and meet their obligations under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, ensuring restrictive practices are only used as a last resort and within a human rights framework.
Our work includes:
- Clinical governance framework development
- Restrictive practice governance and authorisation processes
- Positive Behaviour Support oversight
- Clinical risk assessment and mitigation
- Incident review and clinical investigations
- Clinical policy and procedure development
- Quality assurance and compliance audits
- Practice governance and service accreditation
- Executive and Board governance reporting
Sheree's approach is centred on reducing organisational risk while improving the quality, safety and effectiveness of services for children, young people and adults with complex support needs.
